This tutorial shows you how to move spam to a specific folder.

We have installed SpamAssassin in all our mail servers. SpamAssassin will scan all the incoming emails. If SpamAssassin thinks the email is probably a spam, the program will add [*****SPAM*****] tag in the subject. This tutorial shows you how to move those tagged email to a specific folder, the "Spam" folder.

How to move spam to a specific folder in Horde IMP

1. Log-in to Horde IMP.

2. Click "Folder" at the top of the page.

3. Select "Create Folder" from "Choose action" drop down menu


4. A window will pop up, type "Spam" and then click "OK"


5. If success, you will see a confirmation message.


6. Click "Options" at the top of the page.

7. Click "Filters" under "Mail Management".


8. Click "edit filter rules".

9. Check the box "Subject" in the "Field, type "[*****SPAM*****]" (without quote) next to the "Text", choose "move message to" radion button. In "select folder" drop down menu, select "Spam". As shown below:.


10. Press "create" button.

11. Press "Apply all rules" button.


12. Click "options", then "filters" again.

13. Check the first two options and press "Save Options" button.
